Course Overview

PIDS 211 is the capstone of Red Team Alliance's Physical Intrusion Detection Systems curriculum, building on the foundation established in PIDS 201 to address advanced attack methodologies against modern alarm systems. This full-day course focuses on defeating the security features designed to prevent tampering: supervised circuits, encrypted wireless protocols, monitored communication paths, and hardened control panels.

Students will work with commercial and enterprise-grade alarm platforms, learning to identify and exploit vulnerabilities in systems that go beyond basic residential installations. Through extensive hands-on exercises, students will develop the proficiency needed to independently assess and defeat alarm systems encountered during real-world physical security engagements.
