Red Team Alliance and Red Team Tools: Train. Equip. Execute.

    Red Team Alliance (RTA) provides immersive, real-world physical security training that
prepares professionals and organizations to recognize, anticipate, and respond to
threats beyond the digital screen. Led by industry veterans Babak Javadi and Deviant
Ollam, RTA delivers hands-on training programs in covert entry, surveillance, and breach
methodologies—rooted in practical application, ethical responsibility, and adversarial
thinking.

    Red Team Tools (RTT), a partner firm of RTA, designs and manufactures field-tested
tools for security practitioners. From lock bypass implements to RFID exploit hardware,
RTT products are built by red teamers, for red teamers—rigorously tested and trusted in
real-world operations. Together, RTA and RTT form a comprehensive ecosystem of
training and gear for those securing the human and physical layers of today’s threat
landscape.

    Red Team Alliance, and its hardware partner Red Team Tools, is led by some of the
cyber- and physical security industry’s most renowned innovators, leaders, and
instructors. Leaders are also instructors, ensuring their market-leading approaches get to
those who need it most to be the best at their craft in Red Teaming and physical security.

Babak Javadi – Chief Executive Officer

Babak brings deep technical expertise from over 15 years working across high-security
mechanical systems, alarm systems, and access control. He founded The CORE Group,
co-founded The Open Organisation of Lockpickers (TOOOL), and is widely recognized in
the physical security and red team community. He is a participating member of multiple
standards bodies including the Security Industry Association's (SIA) OSDP Working
Group. Babak has trained and presented at major industry events like Black Hat, SANS,
West Point, and DEF CON, and leads key RFID and PACS hacking courses at Red
Team Alliance.

 

Deviant Ollam – Director of Education

A veteran lockpicking expert, Deviant served on the U.S. branch board of TOOOL for 14
years and authored best-selling books like Practical Lock Picking and Keys to the
Kingdom. He is a SAVTA-certified safe technician, NFPA Fire Door Inspector, and
mentor across numerous security training forums including Black Hat, DEF CON, SANS,
DARPA, the NSA, the FBI, the U.S. Department of State, and the U.S. Armed Forces.

 

Bryan Black – RFID & Electronic Access Specialist

With over a decade of experience in physical security assessments, Bryan expertly
combines surveillance, intrusion detection, access control, and network infrastructure
knowledge. He has collaborated with law enforcement, intelligence agencies, and private
firms advising on security design and flourish as a critical thinker of installation and
defense practices.

 

James Matlock - Design and Manufacturing, Field Support

James is a former U.S. Army unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) operator and combat
veteran. Upon his departure from the Army, James applied his military experience in
security to enhancing security services in the enterprise space. Building upon his
Information Technology (IT) and physical security experience, James joined RTT and the
RTA in 2022, where he supports security evaluation services and hands-on professional
training.

 

Latham Bauer – Training and Certification Coordinator

A dedicated consultant delivering expert advice on-site, Latham works directly with
clients to optimize physical security posture in real-world settings.

 

Donna Wilder – Operations & Customer Experience Lead

Managing the discipline and logistical backbone of Red Team Alliance, Donna ensures
training operations run smoothly and that participant experiences are seamless and
supportive.

 

Chad Franke – Fulfillment Manager

Chad is the Red Team Tools fulfillment manager, ensuring that each and every package
is shipped quickly, arrives safely, and is managed effectively. Chad quickly became an
integral role not only in fulfilment, but also customer service, inventory management,
quality assurance, and product improvement.

 

Shawn Abelson – Operations Advisor

Shawn advises on the critical operations of Red Team Tools and works closely with the
team to help field test the equipment. He frequently tests Red Team Tools products in the
field at client sites, during training, and just for fun.
